Website Builder

Overview

The website builder helps you publish a business website that reflects your ServiceFlow data—services, contact info, galleries, and embeddable widgets. Much of setup, design, content blocks, navigation, and widgets is available today; the visual drag-and-drop page builder is still in development.

How to access

Settings → Website Builder (/settings/website)
Tabs include: Overview, Basic Setup, Design & Colors, Content & Layout, Navigation, Photo Galleries, and Widgets.

What you can do today

  • Create and configure a website record for your business.
  • Basic setup — domain/subdomain, business info, SEO basics, publish status.
  • Design & colors — theme colors, fonts, layout presets, preview (desktop/tablet/mobile).
  • Content & layout — manage pages with default sections and content blocks (hero, text, services, etc.).
  • Navigation — menu items and ordering.
  • Photo galleries — curated job photos for the public site.
  • Widgets — embed lead forms, price book search, visualizer, reviews (see Website Widgets).
  • Preview the site before publish.

Prerequisites

  • Admin access to Settings → Website.
  • Domain or subdomain plan (your host/DNS may need CNAME or A records—follow in-app DNS hints on Overview).
  • Optional: logo and brand assets uploaded.

Step-by-step

First-time setup

  1. Settings → WebsiteOverview.
  2. Follow the setup wizard if prompted (?wizard=1 in URL).
  3. Complete Basic Setup (name, contact, domain mode).
  4. Open Design & Colors and choose palette/fonts.
  5. Content & Layout — edit homepage and key pages with available blocks.
  6. Navigation — add About, Services, Contact links.
  7. Preview → publish when ready.

Edit page content (current capability)

  1. Content & Layout tab → select a page.
  2. Add or edit content blocks (hero, text, CTA, etc.).
  3. Save and preview.
When opening the page editor, you may see “Page Builder Coming Soon” — pages today get a default hero section you can customize via content blocks, not full drag-and-drop canvas editing.

Connect widgets

  1. Widgets tab (or Settings → Website → Widgets).
  2. Create embed codes for lead capture, price book, visualizer, reviews.
  3. Paste embed snippet on your site or external landing pages.

Current limitations

  • Visual page builder (drag-and-drop canvas) is not available yet—some block type editors show “coming soon.”
  • Not every content block type has a full visual editor in-app.
  • Advanced custom HTML/CSS may require developer help outside the builder UI.
  • Multi-language sites are not supported natively.
  • Blog hosting is separate (Soro embed or external blog)—not a full WordPress replacement.

Roadmap

  • Visual page builder with drag-and-drop sections.
  • More block types with live inline editing.
  • A/B testing and conversion analytics on landing pages.
  • Template library by trade (HVAC, plumbing, garage door, etc.).
